Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its €14.7 billion budget provides study, experience and volunteering opportunities for more than 4 million Europeans.
The Erasmus+ programme, which runs until 2020, is not just for students. It has merged seven previous programmes and offers opportunities to a wide range of people and organisations.
The Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) sets the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities that a higher education institution can carry out under the Erasmus+ Programme. Once the ECHE is obtained, the mechanism by which institutions are associated are the inter-institutional agreements. UCLM international agreements.
The award of the Erasmus+ Charter is a prerequisite for all higher education institutions willing to engage in study mobility and/or cooperation for innovation and good practices in the framework of the Programme. The Erasmus+ Charter is awarded for the entire duration of the Erasmus+ Programme (2021-2027).
The Erasmus programme aims to be more inclusive and therefore offers grants for participants with different abilities. Information about these grants can be obtained from the ORI of each campus, or on the website of the Spanish national Erasmus agency, SEPIE.
