Acknowledgments and awards

Premio "Wendy Hall" en la categoría de "Mejor Web de Investigación" a la nueva página web de la BUCLM. 

El pasado octubre se hizo pública la concesión a la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha del Premio “Wendy Hall” en la categoría de “Mejor Web de Investigación”, en la modalidad de “Página de Instituto, Centro, Unidad de Investigación o Centro singular”. Los Premios Wendy Hall fueron constituidos para reconocer la promoción y divulgación del conocimiento a través de los medios digitales y la publicación de contenidos de calidad en abierto. Con su denominación, los Premios Wendy Hall homenajean la persona de Wendy-Ann Hall, matemática, profesora de la Universidad de Southampton y reputada docente e investigadora en el ámbito de las Ciencias de la Computación.

La web de la BUCLM fue renovada en su totalidad a partir de las aportaciones de un equipo de trabajo multicampus coordinado por Julio Arévalo, haciéndose pública en junio de 2018. Más información en https://www.uclm.es/misiones/lauclm/consejodedireccion/sg/convocatorias-nuevo

Honorary Mention at the VII JCCM Excellence and Quality of Public Services Awards (2018)

The UCLM Library was chosen for one of the JCCM Excellence and Quality Public Services Awards in 2018 in the  Excellence of Public Services category in which it obtained an Honorary Mention for the ISO/IEC 33000:ISO8000 certifications in organizational sophistication in level 2 data processing and for certification for the services charter provided by AEVAL (Spanish Evaluation Agency) which depends on the Ministry of the Treasury and Public Administration.

At the University of Castilla-La Mancha Library, pursuant to its policy of quality management, there has been an evaluation of how sophisticated its data quality government and management processes are, as regards Regulation ISO/IEC 33000 and ISO/IEC 8000 (MAMD) It obtained a positive evaluation, with a sophistication level of 2, and it  is the first administrative body to achieve this seal.

Solidarity seal from the Manantial Foundation (2018)

Manantial is a foundation dedicated to providing care to those with serious mental illnesses. One of its duties is to promote employment both inside and outside the foundation. The library has obtained this award due to the trust it has placed in the digitalization services provided by the foundation for the work carried out on the funds digitalization project in 2017. 

Certified Services Charter by the State Secretary for Public Administration (2017)

 The Services Charter of the University of Castilla-La Mancha Library (UCLM), the document which informs the public about the services it provides, the rights users have and their commitment to quality, has received this certification from the State Secretary for Public Administration, by means of the Institute for Evaluation of Public Policies and from the General Directorate of Public Governance.

The UCLM library was chosen for one of the JCCM Excellence and Quality of Public Services Awards in 2017 in the better practices for public services category with our social networks projects in which it was a finalist.
