The library has opened a new communication channel using WhatsApp® to respond to or solve any enquiry or question immediately, whether you belong to the university community or not. Our number is 608368572

Our office hours for enquiries are from 9 to 20:30, from Mondays to Fridays.

 

Enquiries

Type of enquiries accepted: those related with services, resources facilities, equipment, opening hours and activities. Information is given about the loan service, but for individual requests or renewals or reservations and about borrowed documents or fines, the user must contact the  Document Access sections on the Campus. If needed with the enquiry, staff will refer users to the most suitable, contact person, website, electronic mail, form, etc  for this to be solved correctly and as quickly as possible

 

Type of enquiries that are not accepted

• Enquiries about personal data will not be taken.

• Voice calls will not be taken.

 

Clear and accurate messages

Try to make your messages clear and accurate. Remember that the UCLM University Library is made up of 13 Service points and 3 study rooms, so you must specify the campus library you are referring to or the one to which you belong.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

1- The enquiries will be anonymous and private. The library will do what it can to respect the confidentiality of the enquiries, and advises not to give out any personal information (National Identification Number, pin code, etc) in the conversation. 

2- The conversations held may be saved just for statistical purposes and for improving the service. 

3-An email address may be requested when there may be a certain delay in giving a response to the enquiry or when due to the scope or complexity of the response, using WhatsApp is not recommended.  

4- In accordance with that foreseen in Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data, any data the user provides to this instant messenger service will be used to manage it. 

5- According to the WhatsApp legal conditions, the system may periodically access the list of possible telephone contacts used by the library. 

Users of this instant messenger service from the library are understood to have accepted the legal conditions mentioned when using it
