Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences in Cuenca!
It’s a pleasure to welcome you to one of the most dynamic and diverse centres of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Our Faculty was founded in 1998 (Decree 52/1998, of 26 May) through the integration of the former University College “Cardenal Gil de Albornoz”. Today, with over 800 students, we continue to grow as a vibrant academic community within the Cuenca campus in Spain.

Our postgraduate offer is equally rich and specialized, with official Master’s programs such as the Master’s in Business Strategy and Marketing (MUEME), the Master’s in Tourism and Hospitality Management (MUDET) and the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Advocacy. The Faculty also offers Masters and advanced Master Courses in areas like:
- Master’s Degree in Public Procurement Law
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Law and Sustainability
- Master’s Degree in Prevention and Treatment of Gender-Based Violence
- Master’s Degree in Gender Equality: Training for Equality Officers

We place great value on connecting theory and practice. Thanks to our agreements with leading companies and institutions, students can gain real-world experience through internships that often become the gateway to their professional careers. We also encourage research and academic growth through our programmes at the International Doctoral School.
Because today’s world is increasingly interconnected, our Faculty fosters international cooperation through mobility programmes like ERASMUS, SICUE, and exchanges with Latin American universities. Every year, more of our students study abroad — and more international students join us in Cuenca (Spain), enriching our campus culture.
